Lambrick Park Five Star Paving Captures Midget Title With Dramatic Bottom
of Seventh Rally
Trailing 7-4 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning to
their fellow Lambrick Park Coast Capital Savings team, the 5 Star Pavers found a
way to load the bases with 2 outs. This set the stage for a classic battle as
Five Star's Mitch Davidoff fouled off pitch after pitch in a 13 pitch at bat,
before crushing a 3-2 fastball over the left fielder's head for a bases clearing
triple to tie the game. Five Star's Stephan Colontonio then completed the
comeback with a looping single over the second baseman to score Davidoff and
give the Pavers the win.
