Victoria's Max Valle Earns Western Canadian AND National Pee Wee Championship Gold Medals!
Victoria's Max Valle, a fireballer of a pitcher who played this spring for Vantreights in the Gordon Head Baseball Association and then for the Pee Wee AAA Wildcats All-Star team had an August to remember.  Following the Wildcats appearance in the Pee Wee AAA Provincials (where they finished with a 1-2 record), Max was picked up by the second place Abbotsford Angels who then went on to win the Western Canadians in Estevan, Saskatchewan, going undefeated in the process.  Max was also picked up by the Provincial Champion Newton Goldeyes for the Pee Wee National Championships in Summerside, P.E.I.  Newton also went undefeated to capture the National Championship and to top it all off, Max was on the mound as the closer and struck out the final batter to preserve a thrilling 7-6 victory for the Goldeyes over Quebec.

Fall Classic Baseball League - Another Successful Year
The Fall Classic Baseball League has been very successful again this year. Weekday play was under the lights at Lambrick Park, with weekends at Lambrick and West Shore. League play wrapped up Saturday October 16, just before the rains started. Thanks to Lambrick Park and West Shore for helping us extend the baseball season in Victoria.
