Select’s Lapinski, Scotney, Strocel Join Team BC Selects at Midget AAA Nationals

Victoria, BC (ISN) – The Victoria Select's Lucas Lapinski, Spencer Scotney and Thomas Strocel have been selected for the Team BC Midget AAA Selects team that begins play today at the Baseball Canada Midget AAA Nationals in Quebec City.

Lapinski was a do-it-all kind of player for the Midget AAA League Champions Selects this season, anchoring the infield at third base, serving as a key ace in their pitching staff and contributing mightily at the plate.

Scotney is a fleet of foot outfielder who came up with a number of outstanding catches for the Selects in centre and who was a speed threat on the bases, while Strocel was a regular fixture at shortstop and second.
